The purpose of this visioning process is to develop goals with reasonable compromises that will allow the airport and community to support one another in the most effective manner possible.

The process begins with no preconceived plans or predetermined outcomes, as the overarching goal is to be open and inclusive of all interests and concerns. Everyone is encouraged to be involved in helping define the best role for the future of Republic Airport.

We believe that the stakeholders of Republic Airport - whether they are commission members, elected officials, pilots, members of the business or residential community - have shared values, mutual interests and similar needs. These common interests will provide the basis for developing goals and consensus on the Vision Plan.

The final product will be an easy-to-read magazine-style brochure reflecting the interests of all stakeholders. The brochure will include a variety of goals summarizing the information collected during the process. All ideas and concepts will adhere to Federal and State laws and regulations. There will also be a qualitative analysis indicating the income and jobs generated by each goal. Decision makers will evaluate the goals, and the end result will be a Vision Statement that represents the collaboration of interests.
